The August 2025 Criminologists Licensure Exam (CLE) will be conducted in the following testing centers nationwide: Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Calapan, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Palawan, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga, Bacolod, Bayambang, Bohol, Catarman Cauayan, Dumaguete, llocos Norte, llocos Sur, Kidapawan Oroquieta, Romblon, and Valencia.
This year’s 2nd batch of Criminologist Licensure Exam (CLE) will be conducted on August 1, 2 & 3, 2025.

General Instructions
1. Check or verify your school/building assignments at the PRC official website (www.prc.gov.ph) one (1) or two (2) working days before the examination.
2. Report to the school/building assignment before 5:30 A.M. on the first day of examination to verify your room and seat number. Be punctual. Late examinees will not be admitted.
3. Examinees are required to wear the following attire every examination day:
- Male Examinees – white polo shirt with collar (without any sea logo or mark), decent pants or slacks
- Female Examinees – white blouse or shirts with collar (without any seal, logo or mark), decent pants, slacks or skirt, pony-tailed long hair
4. Bring the following on the examination day:
a. Notice of Admission
b. Two (2) or more pencils (No. 2)
c. Ballpen with BLACK ink only
d. One (1) piece long brown envelope
e. One (1) piece long transparent/plastic envelope (non-colored) for keeping your valuables and other allowed items
f. ORDINARY MAGNIFYING GLASS OR HORSESHOE MICROSCOPE
g. Packed snacks, meals, and necessary medications, including hygiene and sanitary kits, in TRANSPARENT/CLEAR containers/cellophanes, with sufficient drinking water supply for the day. The proctors/room watchers shall not allow any person, including food delivery service, to give or distribute food to any examines while the examination is in progress. Except for restroom necessities, no examinee shall be allowed to leave the examination room during the conduct of the examination
5. The following items are strictly PROHIBITED inside the examination premises/rooms:
a. Books, notes, review materials, and other printed materials containing coded data/information/formula
b. DIGITAL AND MODIFIED MAGNIFYING LENS
c. ALL KINDS OF CALCULATOR
d. APPLE, SAMSUNG AND OTHER SMART WATCHES, CELLULAR PHONES, EAR PLUGS, BLUETOOTH, TRANSMITTTERS, PORTABLE COMPUTERS, AND OTHER ELECTRONIC GADGETS/DEVICES WHICH MAY BE USED TO STORE OR RETRIEVE DATA/INFORMATION AND/OR TO COMMUNICATE FOR WHATEVER PURPOSE
d. Bags of any kind (place your documents inside the transparent/plastic envelope)
e. Other examination aides not stated in this program
The rules on the conduct of bodily search, inspection of personal belongings of the examinees, and the seizure/confiscation of prohibited items during the licensure exam (Annex A of PRC Memorandum Order No. 57, s. 2020) shall be strictly observed.
7. Examinees and examination personnel are encouraged to observe the minimum health standards per DOH Circular No. 0324 (s. 2023)1 and such other internal health policies of the Commission throughout the conduct of the examination.
8. Read carefully and follow the instructions on your NOTICE OF ADMISSION.
NOTE: PERSONAL BELONGINGS BROUGHT BY AN EXAMINEE SHALL BE FOR HIS/HER OWN ACCOUNT. THE PRC WILL NOT BE ANSWERABLE FOR ANY SUCH ITEM OR PERSONAL BELONGING THAT MIGHT BE LOST DURING THE EXAM WITHOUT FAULT OR NEGLIGENCE ON ITS PART.

Here are the things to bring during the examination proper:

- Official Receipt
- One (1) piece of metered-stamped window mailing envelope
- Two (2) or more pencils (NO. 2)
- Ball pens (black ink only)
- One (1) piece long brown envelope
- One (1) piece long transparent/plastic envelope (for keeping your valuables and other allowed items)
Dress Code on Examination Day
Here are the specified dress codes from PRC:
- For male examinees, tucked-in white polo shirt with collar (without any seal, logo, or mark); decent pants or slacks
- For female examinees, tucked-in white blouse or shirt with collar (without any seal, logo, or mark); decent pants or slacks
Prohibited Items Inside the Exam Rooms:
- Books, notes, review materials, and other printed materials containing coded information or formulas
- Calculators which are programmable or with embedded functions, especially CASIO FX991ES and CASIO FX-991ES plus
- Apple, Samsung and other smart watches, cellular phones, ear plugs, transmitters, portable computers, Bluetooth and other electronic devices which may be used for communication purposes;
- Bags of any kind (place your documents inside the transparent/plastic envelope)
- Other examination aides not stated in this program
All personal belongings of the examinees shall be surrendered to the proctor and shall be placed in a secured space within the examination room.

- Criminal Jurisprudence, Procedure, And Evidence (criminal law book I, criminal law book II; criminal procedure, evidence, and court testimony)
- Law Enforcement Administration (police organization and administration with police planning, industrial security administration, police patrol operations with police communication system, police intelligence, police personnel, and records management, comparative police system)
- Criminalistics (personal identification, police photography, forensic ballistics, questioned documents examination, polygraph – lie detection, legal medicine)
- Crime Detection And Investigation (fundamentals of criminal investigation, traffic management, accident investigation, special crime investigation, organized crime investigation, drug education, and vice control, fire technology, and arson investigation)
- Sociology of Crimes and Ethics (introduction to criminology and psychology of crimes, Philippine criminal justice system, ethics and values, juvenile delinquency, human behavior, and crisis management, and criminological research and statistics)
- Correctional Administration (institutional corrections, non-institutional corrections)
