MANILA, PHILIPPINES — A total of 13,441 aspiring lawyers have been cleared to take the 2026 Philippine Bar Examinations, the Supreme Court (SC) said, as the Office of the Bar Confidant (OBC) released the official list of qualified applicants ahead of the three-day examinations in September.
The list, dated August 19, 2026, was issued following the OBC’s review of applications for this year’s Bar examinations. Of the 14,291 applicants who registered, 13,441 were cleared to take the exams, making this year’s registration the highest in the history of the Philippine Bar examinations. The figure also surpassed the 13,193 applicants registered in 2025, reflecting a continued rise in the number of aspiring lawyers seeking admission to the Philippine Bar.

The 2026 Digital and Regionalized Philippine Bar Exams will simultaneously be administered at fourteen (15) local testing centers in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
