The National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) Examination is an exam administered by the NAPOLCOM in the Philippines for individuals who wish to join the Philippine National Police (PNP) or for those already in the service who seek promotion.
The NAPOLCOM exam consists of two types: the Entrance Exam and the Promotional Exam. The Entrance Exam is for those who aspire to become police officers and have not yet joined the PNP. It tests the applicants’ abilities in communication skills, logical reasoning, quantitative reasoning, and general knowledge. On the other hand, the Promotional Exam is for active members of the PNP who want to advance their career to a higher rank. It measures their knowledge, skills, and competence in the duties and responsibilities of their current rank and the rank they are aiming for.
Passing the NAPOLCOM exam is a crucial step in becoming a member of the PNP or in advancing one’s career within the organization.
