The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 61 out of 73 passed the Dental Hygienists Computer-Based Licensure Examination given by the Board of Dentistry in N. C. R. last May 2025.
The members of the Board of Dentistry who gave the licensure examination are Dr. Merlin A. Go, Chairman; Dr. Melinda L. Garcia, Dr. Carlito D. Paragas, Dr. Gloria M. Bumanlag and Dr. Ellis James B. Ranada, Members.
The results were released in one (1) working day after the last day of examination.

Schedule of Initial Registration
The schedule of Online Registration of new passers/successful examinees for the issuance of their licenses will be held on the following dates:
- Starting July 14, 2025, registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to www.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration.
Initial registrants are advised to register online via PRC’s Official Website and follow the steps in online registration. Here are the registration requirements:
- Notice of Admission/NOA (for identification purposes only)
- Duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- Two (2) pieces of passport-sized ID photos in white background and with complete name tag
- Two (2) sets of documentary stamp
- One (1) piece short brown envelope
Verification of Ratings
The verification of ratings for the May 2025 Dental Hygienists Licensure Exam (DHLE) will be available online a few working days after the posting of results.
All successful examinees can refer to PRC’s Official Website to know check their respective board exam ratings/scores.
As posted, a passer shall only provide the exam name, the date of examination, the application number, first name and last name and the birth-date.
Oath-Taking Schedule
The COVID-19 pandemic is over and the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has already started conducting face-to-face oath-taking for new professionals.
All successful examinees interested in attending the face-to-face mass oath-taking shall register no later than 12:00 NN of the day before the date of the oath-taking at http://online.prc.gov.ph to confirm their attendance. The exact date, of whether the oath-taking will be conducted face-to-face or virtual, will be provided here once announced.
Inductees are advised to register and confirm their attendance in the regions where they took their licensure examination and intend to register as professionals.
Meanwhile, those who will not be able to attend the scheduled face-to-face mass oath-taking may attend the online oath-taking or request for a special oath-taking.

The May 2025 Dental Hygienists Licensure Exam (DHLE) covered the following topics:
A. THEORETICAL EXAMS – 40%
- BASIC MEDICAL AND DENTAL SCIENCES (Cluster I) – 10%
- GENERAL AND ORAL ANATOMY – 4%
- General Anatomy II – The study of the head and neck with
anatomical details on the skull, face, oral cavity and other
maxillofacial structures. - Oral Anatomy – The study of the morphology of deciduous and
permanent dentition, the macroscopic or gross structure of the
human teeth, their contact with each other in the dental arches,
alignment, occlusion including growth and development of the skull
and jaws.
- General Anatomy II – The study of the head and neck with

- General Physiology –It deals with the integration of the different
cells and organs into a functional human body with emphasis given
to the practical application to dentistry. - Oral Physiology – The physiology of the stomatognathic system
and occlusion and its application to dental practice.

- General Pathology – The study of the origin and the basic
reaction of cells or tissues to abnormal stimuli underlying all
diseases with emphasis on the pathologic processes of the oral

abnormalities as well as the clinical manifestations of oral diseases.

tissue that is used in prevention and treatment of diseases as
prescribed by dentists.
