MANILA, PHILIPPINES — The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 47 out of 64 passed the Metallurgical Engineers Computer-Based Licensure Examination given by the Board of Metallurgical Engineering in N. C. R., Cagayan de Oro, Davao and Lucena this October 2025. 

The members of the Board of Metallurgical Engineering who gave the licensure examination are Engr. Agustin M. Fudolig, Chairman and Engr. Juancho Pablo S. Calvez, Member.

Schedule of Registration

The schedule of online registration of new passers/successful examinees for the issuance of their licenses will be held on the following dates:

  • To be announced (TBA)

Initial registrants are advised to register online via PRC’s Official Website and follow the steps in online registration. Here are the registration requirements:

  • Notice of Admission/NOA (for identification purposes only)
  • Duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
  • Two (2) pieces of passport-sized ID photos in white background and with complete name tag
  • Two (2) sets of documentary stamp
  • One (1) piece short brown envelope

Verification of Ratings

The verification of ratings for the October 2025 Metallurgical Engineers Licensure Examination (MELE) will be available online a few working days after the posting of results.

All MELE examinees, either passed or failed, can generate their individual examination ratings.

All successful examinees can refer to PRC’s Official Website to know check their respective board exam ratings/scores.

The following required information are needed to access the ratings: name of exam, date of exam, application number, name of examinee and the birth-date of examinee.

Oath-Taking Schedule

The schedule of oath-taking ceremonies of successful examinees of the October 2025 Metallurgical Engineers Licensure Examination (MELE) is on the following dates:

All successful examinees interested in attending the face-to-face mass oath-taking shall register no later than 12:00 NN of the day before the date of the oath-taking at http://online.prc.gov.ph to confirm their attendance. The exact date, of whether the oath-taking will be conducted face-to-face or virtual, will be provided here once announced.

Inductees are advised to register and confirm their attendance in the regions where they took their licensure examination and intend to register as professionals.

Meanwhile, those who will not be able to attend the scheduled face-to-face mass oath-taking may attend the online oath-taking or request for a special oath-taking.

The October 2025 Metallurgical Engineers Licensure Examination (MELE) covered the following topics:

  • Metallurgy 1 (Covering Minerals Processing, Prometallurgy, Metallurgical Fuel Technology, Refractory  Science, Hydrometallurgy/ Electrometallurgy and Metallurgical Physical Chemistry)
  • Metallurgy 2 (Covering Physical Metallurgy, Mechanical Metallurgy, Crystolagraphy/ Metallography, Iron and Steel Metallurgy, Non-Ferrous Metallurgy and Foundry Metallurgy)
  • Metallurgy 3 (Covering Inorganic Qualitative and Quantitative Chemistry, Metallurgical Law, Jurisprudence, Ethics, Statistics and Experimental Design, Engineering Economics, Mechanics, Hydraulics, and Design of simple Metallurgical Processes/ Operation/ Plants of Facilities)
